Storeroom Clerk
Under general supervision, properly accounts for all clinic supplies, linen & equipment. Requisitions, receives & stores all clinic supplies, linen & equipment. Establishes inventory levels for supplies, linen & equipment parts. Meets courier & delivers all mail, charts, linen & supplies within the clinic. Assist in other clerical and/or housekeeping functions as needed.

- Evaluates supply needs for the various clinics, reorders & stocks carts daily
- Initiates orders for supplies, including medical, clerical & housekeeping materials, utilizing departmental records & requests
- Maintains through the order procedure, an adequate supply of linen for the clinic & picks up used linen from the departments within the clinic
- Receives & orders supplies & equipment, verifies contents w/ requisitions & delivers to appropriate users
- Maintains appropriate records for offers, linen, requisitions, statistics, etc, as needed to facilitate smooth functioning of the departments
- Receives sorts & delivers U.S. & interoffice mail & charts
- Collects same & delivers to courier according to prearranged schedules
- Photocopies various items on the Xerox machine, maintains Xerox supplies & tabulates usage of machine, makes minor adjustments as needed
- Performs minor emergency maintenance & housekeeping tasks
- Stocks paper towels & cups in designated rooms
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
- Assume other activities & responsibilities from time to time as directed

• Knowledge of barcode applications.
• Knowledge of JCAHO & Title 22 regulations related to stocking of supplies
• Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities & behaviors necessary to provide superior & culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members & to customers, contracted providers & vendors
- • High School Diploma / GED
- N/A
- • Knowledge of Medical supplies preferred
- • Knowledge of computerized inventory system preferred
- • Type 30 wpm preferred
- • One (1) year Materials Management experience
- • Experience in maintaining par-levels, exchange linen, shipping & receiving preferred
