ED, Perioperative Services - Business Ops & Central Sterile
Partnering with the Executive Director for Perioperative Services, Clinical Operations, this role provides strategic and tactical direction for Northern California Perioperative Services in alignment with the organization’s mission, strategic business plan and related performance expectations. The Executive Director, Perioperative Services, Central Sterile and Business Operations will design, develop and implement a system strategy for business operations and central sterile, including but not limited to training and workforce development, supply chain standardization, space optimization and service excellence.
- Communication and Relationship Management
- Develops effective working relationships with key stakeholders and operational leaders. Manages organizational relationships in a way that builds and maintains a climate of trust and inspires commitment from others to achieve organization goals.
- Leads defined and established leadership meetings locally, regionally and nationally.
- Establishes partnerships with appropriate local, regional and national leadership groups, including National Product Council.
- Maintains strong collaborative relationship with medical group partners to provide for the seamless transition of patients across the continuum of care.
- Executive level communication, presentation, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills required. Effectively communicates with all internal and external constituents, including staff, colleagues, and physicians. Produces and presents oral and written materials to address healthcare and organizational issues appropriate to the audience.
- Creates an environment which recognizes and values diversity and designs strategies that address the unique needs of a diverse workforce, patient population, and community.
- Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in management and leadership roles within hospital operations with a focus on central sterile and perioperative operations in a healthcare system.
- Master-s degree in business, Public Health/Administration or management.

- Experience leading large-scale health system performance improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead and coach highly diverse teams
